The High Street Drifters

The High Street Drifters are a bluegrass band from Victoria carving out a distinctive place in the Australian music landscape. Led by mandolinist Justin Vilchez and guitarist Daniel Watkins, the band features a rotating cast of some of the country’s finest bluegrass musicians on fiddle, banjo, and bass. Together, they deliver the drive and energy of modern bluegrass while staying true to the places they've grown.
Known for their rich harmonies, breakneck instrumentals, and heartfelt songwriting, The High Street Drifters bring a fresh and unmistakably Australian voice to the genre.
Their 2024 self-titled debut EP firmly established them on the national scene, with the standout single Back to the Hills earning a 2025 CMAA Golden Guitar nomination for Bluegrass Recording of the Year. The release was followed by a packed run of festival appearances across the country.

The Tone Rangers

Andrew Collins (mandolin) and Chris Quinn (banjo) (previously of The Foggy Hogtown Boys and Creaking Tree String Quartet) — are synonymous with Canadian bluegrass and bluegrass-adjacent music going back decades. James McEleney (bass) (also of The Unseen Strangers, Sarah Jane Scouten, The Andrew Collins Trio and The Sondheim Jazz Project) is an acclaimed bass player & multi-instrumentalist. Ben Plotnick (fiddle) is a renowned virtuoso Nashville based Canadian fiddle player who has toured the world and played as a session musician on more than a hundred albums. Together they form this band of troubadours whose songs echo across vast plains and dusty trails.
Saddle up and join The Tone Rangers, a ragtag band of troubadours whose songs echo across the vast plains and dusty trails. From campfire ballads to saloon showdowns, this eclectic posse serenades the frontier with tales of adventure, heartache, and redemption.
