Dërty Bërd is a local -piece soulful, funky-reggae syndicate composed of mellifluous vocalists, earthy-toned brass players and a rhythm section that thrives on a dance-floor atmosphere. Dërty Bërd borrows elements from pop, rock, funk, soul and jazz and weaves them into one, attaining a sound akin to a love-child of Fat Freddy’s Drop, Prince Fatty and Jorja Smith.
Firefly Horns
Firefly Horns are a brand new, all-original project that has an intoxicating, horn-powered sound custom built to get audiences on their feet!
This instrumental, 7-piece, horn powered band has already played to packed houses all over Melbourne and is now teaming up with Dërty Bërd to bring the coolest music to the coolest venue in the land .. The Lomond!
Firefly Horns have a funky, high-energy, New Orleans influence that gives you vibes of a Bourbon Street Parade.
With chants and singalongs and huge crowd involvement Firefly Horns will have you having the time of your life!
Drop Keys
Drop Keys are a seven-piece band from Naarm/Melbourne. Bright horns mesh with ethereal vocal tones and a solid rhythm section to deliver original compositions which boast amalgamations of funk, soul and rock & roll.
