Wayne Jury
Singing the blues with nothing but a guitar and a passion, he's all grass roots and heart - somewhat like the late Dutch Tilders”. CHRIS LAMBIE Rhythms Magazine May/June 2018.
“Wayne Jury is one of the best blues singers in this country.” Michael Smith, Drum Media Sydney.
Wayne Jury is more than just the blues. Recognised as a multitalented tunesmith (signed as ‘House Writer’ and artist to the legendary J Albert and Son Publishing, home of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Easybeats et al since 1994, with a catalogue of over 200 original songs, including a top 10 hit for Aleesha Rome with ‘Search My Heaven’ plus co-writing albums of material with the Angels John Brewster), his versatility as producer and performer sees him at ease with ensembles or solo, delving deep into funk, soul, blues, jazz and rock to combine these genres with his distinctivevoice, guitar style and performance.
Rose Bygrave
Rose Bygrave has been playing music all her life and professionally for over 45 years beginning in The Goanna Band. Thousands of performances later -with the Band, with her long time friend Marcia Howard, playing with other artists…and as a soloist, in 2022 she toured the country one more time with Goanna to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of their triple Aria awarded record Spirit of Place. They played to sold out venues where they mesmerised audiences with stunning vocal harmonies and timeless songs, and were critically acclaimed as being amongst the best concerts of that year.
In her own right, Rose is renowned for compassionate songwriting - reflecting on the land, place and love, and especially on issues of indigenous and social justice. She has released 4 solo CDs, a duo CD with Marcia and has contributed to many more projects as a singer and keyboardist.
She has shared stages with some of the best artists in the world. In 2020 she released a new CD The Yabby Catcher.
She is currently finishing another batch of song that will be released in 2025.
