Formed in 2005, The Prairie Oysters are celebrating 20 years of delivering their explosive cocktail of country, blues, and honky tonk, and to audiences across Australia. With multiple awards and nominations to their name, three acclaimed studio albums, and a reputation for electrifying fun live shows, the band has built a loyal following that keeps coming back for more.
At the heart of The Prairie Oysters are principal songwriters Tony Bonnici (Bass & Vocals) and Dave Miles (Guitar & Vocals), whose dynamic partnership drives the band’s signature sound. They’re joined by the powerhouse rhythm of Mick Evans (Drums) and the unparalleled skills of the legendary Ed Bates (Pedal Steel), completing a lineup that delivers a killer set of original and classic songs every time they hit the stage.
